Thanks, Craven, for the new All Topics option .(I assume it was you?) .... A quick & easy way to get an overview of what's happening on A2K.
Great! Very Happy

Just a thought: Could we have a "Comments/suggestions for A2K" section the next time you're tinkering? (Took me a while to decide where to direct this particular comment & I'd also be interested in other peoples' A2K thoughts.)

Oh! Thanks Olga - I had not noticed it!

Now - what does it mean, exactly?

And don't groan, Craven!!!!

It means that all topics from public forums are displayed on that list. It is not tied to your visit because you can page your way back as far as you want.

The topics are listed in order of the last post, so now if people lose their connection to the site and the new posts search is reset they will have another way to do it.

PS groooooaaaaaan

Sigh, the "next page" links are there for a reason. The pagination is different.

well, it depends on the evolution of your moral being.

revenge is, of course, a sign of low evolutionary position - but DO feel free to express yourself.....don't mind we more highly evolved lifeforms....

It's not revenge, it's mocking a bunny who glosses over a link and decides to ask about it.

See, highly evolved bunnies look before they leap. :-)

This feature is great, as Able2Know frequently crashes my IE5. (no other websites I visit have this problem, but then I don't visit other phpbb powered sites)

What's the error message monger? I probably need to overhaul the javascript.

It's probably not phpbb. If anything it's my own doing.

I wrote it down to send to you before but I don't have it right now. I'll post it the next time it happens. It's not at all descriptive though, no error code or anything, just basically saying IE needs to be shut down.

Odd, I tst extensively with that browser.

Let me know if it happens on index or search pages exclusively. The hypercell effect might not be degrading.

On those pages do the cells change color when you hover over them?

I have had problems with Windows in the past and I plan to eventually format me computer. I wouldn't rule out that there's something wrong with my copy of IE, but like I said it only happens with this site. Actually no, it happened on 1 of my maybe 3 visits to phpbb.com, which is why I thought it might have something to do with that. It happens when I open a new page, before it loads. At times, even when I first open A2K it crashes & I never see anything (I have my bookmark set to the new posts page though, not home). I don't recall if it's only happening when openning links from index & search pages, but it happens most frequently when I try to open topics from the new posts page (since I usually navigate from there). Any other A2K pages I have open at the same time (I use 'open in new window' a lot) also shut down after clicking OK to the error message, but other website's IE windows remain open. It hasn't happened in 2 days or so.
