This seems highly concocted to me. If so, what is Forbes doing announcing it. If it's not concocted, are we all living on some other planet? Please explain.
I honestly thought that title belonged to Oprah Winfrey.
Her signature alone brings in close to 5 million dollars , and that is a low end guess..
Her net worth being somewhere in the 50 billion dollar range..
I cant see how he would be considered powerful.
maybe powerfully annoying
( my grammar teacher will roll in her grave for that one.. )
Weird, in this list it seems like they equate "rich" with "powerful".
But wealth doesnt equate with power if you dont do anything with it to exert power. If you only use your wealth for your private enjoyment, all you have power over is your own life, not the world.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
Bono. Now there's a powerful celebrity. Bush, Gordon Brown and the Pope - they all have to lend their ear to Bono because they know how much influence he wields.
you can't be serious. she's always doing cool things, like giving everyone in the audience a car, honoring black (women) legends, and recommending books to read. you'd have to be cynical not to have profound admiration for her impeccable character. besides, where would Tom Cruise be without her couch to jump from?
yit (i never claimed not to be a cynic) wail (with apologies to joe nation)
