Well, BB and Edgar. The only difference between fantasy and fact is who is the best at manipulating the variables. It seems to me that The Piltdown man was a conglomerate.
But piltdown was a fabrication. It is well documented that cro-magnon and neanderthal lived in the same territory.
how strange. One of my posts is missing. I just wanted to explain to you, Edgar, that I knew piltdown man was a hoax, and my use of conglomerate was my way of fooling around with words.

I was pretty certain that you did, but, I had to make the point just in case somebody else happened on the thread and accused us of being that ignorant. I am barely pithecanthropid, myself.
Edgar, as I once told someone long ago, you know what you know, and I know what I know. Still holding on, my friend. We do not have to prove anything, although it's a challenge to do just that.

edgar, theories come and go about prehistoric man, but I really believe that there has been no conclusive evidence that links the "cave' man to modern man. Well, we must provide the fodder for the dramatist.
It's a jigsaw puzzle. Depends on how many peices survive to connect.
