I noticed a few moments ago that the Dow Jones Industrials is off another 50+ points today, combined with yesterdays lost of 200 that puts the DJI off 250 points in just 2 days and around 800 points down from the highest. Does this have any meaning regarding economic health?

Day to day fluctuations like this are just noise. If it falls, say, 2000 points in a day, or if there's a downward trend that lasts months or quarters, that's a different matter.
