I wanted to post an invite to see a friend's band tonight. You know, like the old boston abuzzers gathering threads. Is that kosher? Where would I post it?

I would think a new topic under "General". My understanding is that even commercial links are permitted if you mention any association you have with the company.

Hmmm.. That's a darn good question.. We don't have city forums like there were on Abuzz. I guess the "General" forum is wide open - you can post anything there. Maybe "Performing Arts" as well?

Either General or North America (which I suspect includes Boston :-D)

I can cross-post it to both if you wish (e. g. you'll need to post it to one forum and ask me to cross it to another; only moderators can do the cross-posting trick).

If you want to know if something is kosher, you have to post it in the Food & Drink category! Razz

Hi all! Thanks for the direction. Now, I'll quietly drop the whole idea as I'm not going out.

Maybe we should have a out'n'about section?

many avid abuzzers have heard a couple dozen too many Qs about duck tours and the hatch shell. What else? Oh yeah, restaurants in the North End.

It's ok, Phoenix....come back!
