Been away for quite a while...broke up with Mr smorgs (and they said it would never last) I have been feeling devastated, don't even know why I'm posting this...as I seem to have lost my spark - anybody finds it, there is a reward of one thousand and fifty, which is the amount my daughter used to think was the most money in the whole world.

So here I am... sat in my new place, in front of my new computer, which I put together all by myself, posting to an old friend to tell them of my broken heart.

AND I've had a drink Drunk - which is unusual for me (really)

AND I'm going to regret this in the morning Embarrassed

There is a positive though - I lost two stone

Sarah

Oh, Sarah, I'm so sorry! Sad

I was wondering what happened to you. I'd missed your funny posts here.

I won't ask what happened, or why the breakup occurred. You can talk about that if you choose. And only if you want to.

Yes <sigh> it can be very hard having a relationship that really matters to you end. Say nothing of reestablishing yourself ... new home, new way of existing. It certainly took me quite some time to adjust.

But, hey, go a bit easy on the plonk, if you can. As a former counsellor advised me (can still hear her voice saying it sometimes! Ringing in my ears!), it only makes things far worse! Mind you, in times of high stress I didn't always follow her sage advice!

Hang in there Sarah. Try & be strong (despite feeling a bit pathetic at times. Been there, done that! Sad ) One of the great things about you is your humour ... & your strength. Those things will help pull you through, I'm certain.

I really think, too, that this is an excellent time to buy some red shoes! Very Happy It's the time honoured A2K panacea/pick me up for times when one is feeling a bit flattened. Try it. It worked for us! Very Happy

oh smorgs.
( big hug )

Im sorry to hear that you are not happy.
Drink up, if need be.

Venting always helps as well.

We have all had something like this happen, so I hope you can get some advice if that is what you need, that helps you feel better.

But.. uh.. wow.. you already have your own place and new computer?
Dahhhlin... im a bit jealous.. Laughing

I'm glad you showed up, msolga. I was trying to think of the appropriate thing to say and was looking for pictures of dancing monkeys to cheer smorgs up, but couldn't find any.

smorgs, look on the bright side, at least you don't have George Bush for a president.

Then you would be really crying.

Red shoes, baby girl, they're the answer.

If I'd realized, I'd have taken some photos of lovely red shoes for you while I was out on a bit of a window-shopping spree this afternoon.

~~~~~~~
Try these
I doubt that your spark has vanished forever, Sarah. Very Happy Hell, I'd think there was something strange going on if you were joking about what's happened to you! Something happens that makes you feel lost & utterly miserable & it's understandable that you feel devastated. And there's nothing wrong with crying. Better that bottling all that sadness up, then having to cope with it all later.
The thing is Sarah, noone liked you anyway. I know I never did. Are you going to be getting cats or red shoes? Do you really hate my Stetson?
smorgs, I couldn't find any dancing monkeys, but I did find this picture which has a couple of monkeys in it, and you have to admit the one in the dress is kind of funny-looking.
I can't answer anymore tonight, but thanks for your kind words (as usual). Its funny...I hardly ever used to go on the relationship threads, found it a bit 'squirmy' at times. Maybe that's cos I'm British (in case you didn't know).
...and here I am sat prostrate (that word didn't work and you should hear me trying to pronounce it) in front of a computer screen telling loads of people how bad I feel.
But I had forgotton how bad it DOES fee!
lf I stay, I will cry more and I might damage the keyboard, and then I won't know how to fix it, and that will make me cry more...
So I'll go to bed and face the embarassment tomorrow
Goodnight
Sarah
I agree - it's good to see you! Sorry to hear about your marriage. Ranting on a2k is great therapy, at times!
The phallic symbol in the back of the dancing monkey picture
(that whole phrase is soo able2know)
is distracting me???? Why I'm starting to laugh...
I'm cured! I'm laughing again!!!!!
In under twenty posts - thanks guys, would have less laughter lines without you!
And the SYMBOL??? The PHALLUS.. yes... this means there is a world full of men out there - and I should get me to the personals, before rebpund expirey time.
