Is there a way to go straight to a specific page of a thread?

Like page 145 of a 250 page thread?

Actually there is a way.

Page 145 would end with "start=1440" - so if you go to the last page of a long thread, you can go to other pages by changing that "start=" number.

Page 100 would end with "start=990".

The first page of a thread has different coding as it refers to the topic number, so this page ends with "t=73031."

As a matter of fact, I think I will.

You won't have me around to bother everyone any more.

Jesus, no one even want to "do" me.

You won't have to search for me, my last post is right here, on this first page.

Wait, I don't understand what you mean by that mac...what do you mean "changing that 'start'=number"?

What are the steps?

Chai, look at the web address line of this page. (Actually, since we're only up to page 2, you can't go anywhere here. Very Happy )

But anyway, this page is http://www.able2know.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=73031&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=10 .

On a long thread, if you go to any page other than the first one, you can change the number after "start=" to take you to a different page.

I am going to hang around here until I am sure Chai understands the concept.

After that I will do her if there is ample time.

And Chai, if you want to go to a specific post, then you'll
click the post # and save the URL.

Should you ever leave us (don't even think about it)
then never without a huge and long good bye thread, is
that understood?
