@alex240101,
Hi Alex! Just cut out a paper shamrock and pin it to your shirt. Then you won't get pinched. Wink

How was the dinner?

We are having a chuck roast that has been in the crock pot all day. I will shred it and put it on crusty rolls. I cannot wait for that - I can wait for the movie though. I think we are watching a scary one. Which I am not too thrilled about. yuck.

@mismi,
I'll be traditional if I do it.

in the crock pot with cabbage, another food that is less than agreeable to me of late. and some taters, of course.

but no alcohol. which is really what the day is aboot...

We had a nice dinner out tonight, now home and Antonio and I are making peanut butter cookies. They're going to be yummy!

@jcboy,
Tell daddy I said welcome home!

I'm making a big pot of chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce for tonight's dinner and for the freezer.

turkey and swiss sandwich

something in it was too salty

I'm getting used to meat from home-cooked roasts in my sandwiches - prepared cold cuts are just not working for me anymore

@Butrflynet,
Marco said hello, he’s relaxing watching some TV

The cookies came out fantastic. Antonio had two with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

@jcboy,
We’re going to have to pass out cookies to kids in the neighborhood this weekend, we have too many!

@jcboy,
We’re going to a pool party and BBQ today so we won’t be cooking tonight but tomorrow I will be making Sunday dinner, I’m not sure what I’ll be making, so stay tuned!

@ossobuco,
It's early here to be thinking of dinner, but I know it's going to be some pork adobado. This last batch I made is not as spicy and not as delicious as the last one - I'll up the number of hot chiles (I'm using chili puya) on the next one. I think I'll make some polenta to go with it, and thaw some collard greens too.

@Ragman,
yesterday we completed building a really good ham and white bean soup with tomatoes chiles and veggies with some chosen spices . It was a two day build and it was delicious. Served up with corn bread and a salad it was great.

@adustu,
Good evening adustu. You're having one of my favourite restaurant treats.

I'm going to put together some kind of baked noodle casserole later. Lasagna, but not with lasagna noodles.
