Oh! I just saw this thread, shucks Embarrassed

I picked up this book sometime last year. I'm about half-way through it Laughing

That's not a punch to it's quality, oh no, I find it fascinating. However I am just extremely horrible at time-management.

I really do enjoy it though... I was raised in a Baptist home, and began turning away from Christianity in my pre-teen years. I've finally become comfortable with my position in theology (one commonly known as Atheist), but am still surrounded by my past belief (though I never really believed it at all). My sister is a missionary, my family all Christians, I live in central Oklahoma - the Bible Belt. I am witness to what Sam Harris speaks about every day, and perhaps that's why it intrigues me the way it does.

Once I finish the book, I will definately comment more on it. Until then, I'm high-lighting as I go so that I can quickly find reference points.

Sanctuary - I just saw the book the other day. Not too late to finish it and contribute. I'm looking forward to finishing it myself and will be interested in your take on it.
