Can you elaborate a bit, or is that the total sum of it?

Will Obama go back to his "neighborhood-organizing" job in the slums of Chicago?

Maybe he'll get a job drilling for oil in Alaska...Wait...If he did, he'd get his dainty little hands dirty. Shocked

Maybe he will help his brother, be his brother's keeper, and buy his brother some lumber so that he can move into something a step up from a mud hut?

No! Maybe he'll help his 71 yr old mother-in-law move out of her SouthSide slum.

Or...maybe he'll move to ALASKA Razz and open up a "mooseburger" eatery...

I gave you a couple thumbs up, Miller. I at least like your humor, even if some others here can't take it.

Maybe there is another thread pushing Obama now, but has anyone else noticed it seems like the emotional fervor has died down considerably for Mr. Obama, if this thread is any indication?

Most are probably avoiding the rabid Republicans on the thread.

Re: okie (Post 3382418)
I think most of the fervor went to the Dem Convention discussions.

Here's my account of the rally in Dublin last night, with pictures, for anyone who's interested:

Wow, this thread hit the second page! Probably hasn't been there in over a year.

Anyways, here's the graphic that you need to see, to know everything that matters about the Dem convention -

McCain and the Republicans are in big, big trouble with numbers like this. I can't wait for the state-level polling to resume.

He's also at 51% in Ras! His best numbers of the campaign ever.

Not bad, not bad. 49.1 poll average nationally. That's damn close to 50.

Re: sozobe (Post 3386855)
Yup. And he's far above his previous high numbers.

Good positioning... that's a definite bump.

Obama stays at 50% in today's Rasmussen poll, and have you seen the Hispanic polls? I will post some, but they are crazy good news for Obama. Startling numbers.
