fresco your answer is not without wit but I doubt that it is correct, however may I take this opportunity to thank you for participating.

Can't quite get it but Chairman Mao was a dictator, Chaplin starred in a film called The Great Dictator and Sinatra had the nickname The Chairman of the Board. Is this any help? Or does it spark anyone else's brain?

Actually Fresco's FBI answer is obviously true, Sinatra had close ties to mob figures, Chaplin was kicked out out the USA because he was considered a commie, Mao is obviously a commie although whether it's the answer the compiler is looking for I don't know.

I cant understand why I didn't like this answer.

Because so far the answers have been obvious for two and the third needs a bit of fiddling? For example -

two dictators, one chairman (who could be called a dictator);

two chairman, one dictator (who could be called a chairman)

two communists, one mob related.

Try -

They were each married FOUR times.
