Have a Choccy tasting!

While chatting with a rep from Sandeman's, and sipping their quite lovely Ruby Port (about $13 and change here, a bargain), I had an entertaining idea. A chocolate tasting! The folks at Valhrona have no less than 5 'Grand Cru' dark chocolates, each with their own character, which are availible in tiny squares as well as bars. This sort of tasting would be a great substitute for dessert after a good meal. Serve with port, and water to cleanse the palate. You can order boxes of mixed selections at www.valrhona.com

Cavfancier, count me in!!
An unpleasant fact of life for me these days is having to cut way back on sweets. A few tiny squares of chocolate once in awhile would have me thinking I'd died and gone to heaven. Add a little port (and maybe water) to cleanse the palate, and the evening would be a smash hit.
Let me know if you decide to have the tasting--I'll drive all the way to Canada for chocolate, drooling as I drive.
