It's not that I dislike the Steelers, because I've always considered them to be a tolerable team with a fairly entertaining coach, but rather the reason for my disappointment is that the Seahawks, a vastly superior team, were denied their richly-deserved Superbowl championship because of the incompetence of the officials.
It just doesn't sit right with me.
(and I have no affiliation with the Seahawks, nor have I ever considered myself a fan of said team)
I saw a Seahawk put his hands on a Steeler in an obvious push off motion before turning to catch the ball. No touchdown due to deserved penalty.
I saw the Steelers quarterback put the ball as far as the goal line (in the rerun) before his arm and the ball came back. I had initially told my wife it couldn't be a touchdown, but the replays showed otherwise.
In the second half, the Seahawks were outclassed.
