600 pushups in an hour... is that good?

I figured I had better start working out since I've been fairly inactive over the winter. I started off with some pushups and managed to do 600 in just under 53 minutes.

I'm feeling pretty good right now.

These are not religious situps, Momma.

According to my calculator, that's about one pushup every 5.25 seconds. Which actually, isn't that fast.

Come on, Gus. You can do better than that.

Yes, LionTamer, they are one-armed. I didn't want to mention that for fear of sounding like a braggard.

I should mention that I have three circus women sitting on my back.

What a sissy!

My brother used to do these push ups where he would push up, clap his hands, and catch himself on the way down.

Now THOSE were push ups.

He could do them with three circus fat ladies and two trained dogs on his back.

And he could do 1200 in about an hour and a half.

well, if they were twirling their pastees or chucking indian clubs at each other, then I'd say ok. But without any evidence.....

I think they're playing poker. And either I'm getting tired or there's an elephant up there, doing a handstand on a chair by the feel of it.

Do them on the knuckles of the hand that you dont normally use, trade the circus women for circus elephants and get your time down to 26 minutes and you'll have a good start in catching up to me.
