How do I make this memory stick work? I want to use it to store back ups of digital images on. Can it even be used that way?

Yeah, but if you use it that way, you will constantly be buying new memory sticks, and they are rather expensive. Wouldn't it be easier simply to upload the pictures from the memory stick to the computer, and burn the pictures that you want to a disc? That, IMO, is far more practical.

Then you remove the pictures from the memory stick, and you can use it again and again.

I'd need to buy a writable disc drive. But, they're cheaper than memory sticks. What's even more dear is desk space, which is why I opted for the MS in the first place. Perhaps I will open the puter up, take out the useless drive and put in a new one - brilliant! Thanks Phoenix.
