At least three...? Jes, Region, me, quinn1, and Dasha. Probably George, Merry Andrew, and username. Possibly Slappy.

I've seen Slappy twice? Three times? Once at your house, once when Dasha came back for a visit. I think George is a definite on the "at least three" criterion. Andrew and username, definitely. We're the nine hardcore folk, but quinn1, Dasha and Merry Andrew have all moved, so now we're the six hardcore folk.

an "r" is sometimes added to a word that doesn't need one --

Not sure if all A2K Bostonians now this: Jespah, Region Philbis, and myself (maybe Goerge, too?) are running another 5K in Artisani Park Saturday morning. I can't speak for the others, but I'd be delighted if Bostonian non-runners would like to join us sometime before or after. Perhaps for lunch?

No, no. 'Tonic' is strictly Greater Boston idiom, not even all of Mass. They make fun of Bostonian expressions, e.g. 'tonic', west of Sprinngfield. Your Texas friend must have been trying to sound like a local. In Texas they generally call it 'soda', sometimes 'pop.'
