Btw, I thought for a while I was going to bring a surprise guest -- Seaglass. She was going to come over from Hawaii and help me pack and dispose of the flat here. Alas, as of last night's conversation with the dear gal it seems she can't possibly get off the island much before the 17th or 18th of February. Still plans to be here but not in time for the farewell luncheon.
