We met at Border Cafe (well, three of us at first with the fourth showing up in time to order dinner). Jespah stuck to her diet - which is working well! Go Jes!
Apparently, Jes and Reg have been going to BC for 15 years and order the same thing every time they go. I admit it looks like a fun dinner. Fajitas you contruct on your own. Like Chinese mu shi pork. Dasha got a blackened catfish dish with cubed mangoes.
The restaurant is located in an old building that was most definitely used as something more industrial at some point (I mean to look that up). We ate in the basement. There was some old brick wall exposed, the floor was wide-plank, unfinished wood.

Thank you -- I really noticed it actually in the first pic Dag posted (it's rather light). I just keep looking at that and thinking, damn, I look like I'm in a normal weight range. First time in years. Man oh man.
