Can't beat the Aussies when it comes to wines, nowadays. Whoodathunk that a country famed for it's weak beer could become world beaters in the wine market.
They are fast becoming the market leaders over here in the UK.
Hardy's Rosemount Shiraz is about the best wine I've tasted in a long time.
I also like their "Fat Bastard" wines, and am glad that they have followed the tradition of giving a good red wine a grand and noble sounding name.
My dad used to manage Hardy's....a long time ago.
And I'd thaught, Lord E would prefer a Cwm Deri, Wylye Valley, if not Pheasants Ridge.
