The "kid" has a worse Brit accent than Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins.

Well Spanky, they look like Brits: Moma displays heavy pancake make-up, Dad reads the morning paper, and the tea drinking ceremony - all very indicative!

They boy obviously is adopted (or do you think Mom....?)
and has an identity crisis.

true story :
at a meeting of local accountants i met a fellow accountant who had come from barbados(he could have been a double of the fellow in the film-clip).
he quickly figured out that i had come from gemany and said :"how come i haven't seen you at the austro-canadian club ?" (we wouldn't go near it !). i looked at him and said , "what do you know about the austro-canadian club ?". "oh ", he said ' they have wonderful 'beer-abend' ; lots of good beer, pork-knuckels and sauerkraut, live german music. i sure hope to see you there !".
sadly, i had to disappoint him. hbg

and the list of attendees would be twice as long.
