Looks like the correlation between the definitelies and the probablies and the did-show-ups was pretty good.

I don't think we heard from George, who I'd still love to meet, but Timber and my darling Brooklyn both had some damn good reasons for not making it. Your way of pseudo-making it was pretty cool. Everyone smiled when they talked to you, including me. Smile

It was encouraging to see the photos of people smiling while they were on the phone

I'm posting some Black % White photos here.

Some of them are even in my eyes not too bad.

Since I was so pleased to meet you all, since I really nearly fell in love with ... both Chicago and Albuquerque/New Mexico, I do think, I have to thank all of you with ... well, with some photos, if you like.

So, I'm offering to send one/some Black 6 White, if you want, as a print.
(Otherwise, I could email some huuuuuuge files of the scanned pics.)

No obligation, no subscription, no postage - absolutely free of charge.

I converted one of my color pictures to black and white. Comments appreciated - good or bad. Wink

Good solid shot. Doesn't have the sparkle of the real black and white film of course (mine won't either, brought and used 6 rolls the wrong damn film and I knew better, just forgot that you can now use c-41 film for b & w. T'was sold as b&w, but not the real thing. Grrrrrr at myself).

I've done a couple of shots on a real black & white film (Ilford HP 45 plus 400).
Not sure, if I posted c.i.'s motif already on my thread with black & whites from Chicago, here it's 8again)

(Couldn't change the lens from that camera to my digital fast enough - otherwise it would have been in colour.)

It was indeed downtown close to the Michegan (some bank buildins, though I can't really remember which and exactly where.

I checked the Announcement section and ossobuco identified it as the Board of Trade or something. The Playboy Corporate offices used to be nearby.

Walter, I enjoyed your pics in Chicago and ones with Dys. You're a great photographer and a gentleman.
