I'm looking at 148 posts since my last visit. It's growing faster that I can check it all out. I can't shut down. If I do, my list of new stuff goes away. What to do? What to do?

Know just what you mean, roger. I accidentally shut it down the other day and lost all my 'since your last visit' entries. What I did was do through the forums, one by one looking for new entries. Took longer but it did work. But, of course, by the time you come back on there will probably be 400 or so more new ones to go through and then all the ones you missed tonight so you may never, ever catch up. This place is really growing quickly. Isn't it great?

Fabulous. You can mark the ones you are interested in, and retreive them from the Control Panel, but that doesn't help with the ones you never saw. The option is to view all posts within the past 24 hours, but what a job that would be.

I've run into this a few times already. I usually come back in just check "View posts from the last 24 hours" and look for anything I may have missed.

Or, roger, you could just stay up all night tonight and read.

Hmm, I think a new feature is in order.

How about a view 24 hrs etc feature that works in topic format as opposed to post format?

You can also do this (if you reaaaaaly want that list):

On that page press ctrl a then ctrl c.

Open outlook and open a new email. Paste it in there and send it to yourself.

It will be ugly! But it will save the links.

I'll work on better navigation but eventually you simply won't be able to keep up. Such is the life of a forum. ;-)

Roger! Your rat is so cute in true colour!

I just keep the beast in the background - the list of posts since your last visit - even if I close my isp.

Craven - is that EAP?

Not sure it would be worth your time, Craven. Ya just never know where the good stuff is going to be. I notice Bandylu posting in POLITICS! Who would have looked there.

That is pretty strange, isn't it? Notice I still haven't outwardly revealed my current leanings, though it may be more obvious than I realize.

Sounds like you got a new monitor, Deb. Just think of my little rat as sort of a Ratbert kind of rat, like from the Delbert strip.

Not real obvious, Bandylu, but you've been more or less a public figure for a long time now.
