It is interesting how many primitive societies created myths to explain the universe. Problem is, with all of our knowledge, there are folks who still buy into these fantastic tales.

That probably why astronomers have decided to declassify Pluto as an honest to goodness planet and deem it an orbiting rock. As a rock man, you should be sobbing!

I guess they will be reclassifying all of the planets in our solar system shortly.

Edgar, why didn't New Orlean's folks pray to Poseidon. He might have responded faster to Katrina than Bush's FEMA Brownie.

Not being an astronomer I may be on a limb to think that planets usually have internal heat or volcanism based on gravity.

It just dawned on me that 'Intelligent Design' is nothing more than a modern euphemism for that oldest of old time religions, 'Cosmology.'
