Hi, I have got some ditloids that I am trying to solve, have already completed 106 but there are 4 which I am struggling with, can anyone help please??
They are:

10 P in a B
4 T as the F D (A E)
1 O B T S
3 T D

The initials in brackets could be a clue or may complete the saying

Thank you!!

I'd say you're right whitevoilet. When these were first posted a couple of days ago, I thought that the number at the beginning had to be part of the answer until:

so it appears that the number at the beginning is not necessarily part of the actual phrase itself.

You're right, they are maddening!

yes i agree with white violet on once bitten twice shy (one being related to once), we did originally think of 10 P ina B being something to do with 10 pin bowling but cant find anything to fit.

they are very maddening!

thank you for all your help so far!

I had thought of 10 pecks in a bushel, but all the tables i found quoted 4 pecks in a bushel. Oh well!
