How do you view life?

Simple enough question.

Some people seem to bumble along and dont particually care what happens.

Some people see life as a war.

Some people, like me see life as a kind of computer game where I have to collect all the gems.

What do you see life as?

Life is different at different stages. So the way I viewed life ten or twenty years back might be very different from how I view it today. It's how we grow and mature that determines our outlook upon life today. Circumstances and fate matter a lot too. Today I view life to be lived for myself and atleast for one another in the sense of making their life.

I view life as a gift and our appreciation is shown by how well we live.

I'll have a different answer to this question from one minute to the next. I'm fickle like that.

Generally though, I see life as an elaborate Carnival. It's theatrics without a point. What you experience depends a lot on what you got, how you approach it, and how much you care. There's also the random roll of the dice.

There's 16 yr old girls giving carnies head for free rides. There's useless stuffies for spending an hour on a game you pay 200 bucks to win. There's cotton candy and Freak Shows. There's romance, there's kindness, and there's suffering.

I think it boils down to morally but that's determined by the individual. What I mean by how well we live life is by the choices we make, smart choices vs. stupid choices, and if one makes stupid choices, and we all do at some point, living well, IMO, is learning from those stupid choices. Learning not to do the same dumb things over and over. Having the courage to change and grow.

It's a long bus ride. Mostly very boring, some times beautiful, sometimes exciting, sometimes, it just is.

I dont think I can SEE life, I just DO it.

It is a power struggle, a race to gain knowledge since that is the only thing we have true control over. It is about developing before disintegrating.

That's too sad, Shewolf...

What about gently kissing in the neck, just behind the ear? ( that's one of life's components).

Life is indeed a beautiful journey and even the bumpy rides
hold some pleasant surprises, provided one decides to endure it, and there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Smile
