I just hope she doesn't go the way of Chile's last democratically elected socialist president, Allende.

Ah ... just stuck here in stasis, not wanting to go to bed (ever less so as it becomes early morning) ...

Dont know why really. Guess there is something in real life that scares me at the moment, so I'm hiding out here pretending the world doesnt exist as long as I'm in cyberspace.

But yeah, I should just go sleep. Tomorrow is a new day and it wont actually be bad, either. And whatever the difficult thing is I'm gonna be thinking about when I 'return to real life', I'm gonna be thinking about it anyhow, so its not like postponing does anything about it.

See, thats how I work (and why I spend so much time here...)

Two things:

First, just like someone already said, the current president Ricardo Lagos IS a socialist.

Second, Lagos has been president for 6 years, not 4. Only recently has the presidential period been shortened from 6 to 4 years.
