phpbb problem

Hi,

Last night my very popular and active phpbb forum went down.

It was on the version before the latest one.

The error:

Could not connect to the database

Somebody please help. I already tried a database repair through cpanel but no luck.

Check to see if the configuration for db access is correct.

Those errors can be the result of any of the following:

1) database server is not running

2) forum is not configured with the proper user/pass to access the db

3) the user/pass for the db doesn't have the right access.

No matter what the problem is, it's not something others can resolve on forums for you. Contact your system administrator!
