Today we are supposed to see the report on the progress of Roberts.
Interesting how there was no progress last week. No committee hearings were held like Roberts had claimed would be.
I guess we will find out if Roberts lied or not today. That is if the GOP even lets the bipartisan investigation of the investigation's progress even see the light of day.
I didn't get the squatters "joke" either. I guess it is a guy thing.
It's not a "guy" thing, but it's definitely not a "newbie" thing. Nothing against newbies, you just don't have the history here to appreciate the comment.
It's now Wed and nothing about the report that was supposed to be done last week.
Nothing scheduled in Senate hearings on the matter this week. No hearings last week on the calender.
I thought it was supposed to be almost done. Did Roberts lie to the American people? It certainly looking more and more like the Democrats were right about the foot dragging on the part of Roberts and the GOP.
I do9n't think a report is needed. The master politician has made his comment.
Bill Clinton has indicated that the US did a good thing in removing Saddam.
Bill Clinton has indicated that the US "erred" in its calculation that Iraq would be easily tamed and that there were not enough troops sent to the country to do the job properly.
Bill is sitting in the stands. The score is 24-18 in favor of the US team.
The US team controls 13 of 16 provinces and is preparing for an election on Dec. 12 which will set up an Iraqi legislature.
Bill is in the stands--a Monday morning Quarterback-at best. He was a pretty good quarterback himself until he started paying more attention to the cheerleaders instead of the game.
We shall see what happens in Nov. 2006. That is what this is all about, isn't it?
I will be on these threads when the Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in 2006 and for the last two years of Bush's term.
