I have a male beagle, he turned 2 in August. He'll take a blanket or pillow and fluff it up under his belly, take a mouth full and sucks and kneads like a cat. Is this a sign of separation anxiety or from possibly being weaned to early? We brought him home when he was 9 wks. The vet says it could be either.

He could be masturbating very creatively. I had a male dog who made love to his blanket.
