Why are 1898 silver dollars worth more than 1897 silver dollars?

I agree with Alexandra, however there is also another answer depending on how the question is interpreted. I do believe that silver dollars were re-designed between 97 and 98 (Morgan Silver Dollars) in which case the price of one dropped and the other rose with inflation. I just thought that I would add this as an after-thought.
