Easy carpenter one [deb can't play]

A carpenter was in a terrible hurry. He had to work as quickly as possible to cut a very heavy 10 foot plank into 10 equal sections. If it takes 1 minute per cut, how long will it take him to get the 10 equal pieces?

Margo, is, of course, correct. And, naturally, he stopped for a beer or five or six - he WAS Australian, wasn't he?

Oh, just dropping off a poisoned spindle for Craven, since he forbade me to play ...... feeling sleepy, dear? Nemmind, your princess may come in, oh, a hundred years or so....

Why not stack the boards after the first cut to reduce the total number of cuts?
