Okay, this one is pretty simple. Start with your basic peanut butter sandwich on a hard roll. Now evenly cover the peanut butter with slices of dried apple. This baby is good.

Roger, I used to make that sandwich for my children when they were small.

One of my favorite toppings for peanut butter sandwiches are dill pickle slices. Not only is the taste contrast good, the pickle's moisture helps to unstick the peanut butter from the roof of your mouth.

Had a cowboy something-or-other at Jason's Deli the other day.

Roll with BBQ brisket, then cheddar cheese, then lightly covered with onions....

mmmm.....

Another winning combo, DrewDad.

I still invented it, BBB.

It was sort of a generic apple, Sturgis. I think a MacIntosh would do well dried, but mine was just, well, dried apple.

Never heard of it, shewolf, but I'll keep an eye out and try one.

Ever notice that apple juice and dried apples tell you nothing about the variety? I smell a conspiracy in there, somewhere.

Hmmm......I think fresh sliced apples and peanut butter would be good.......Have you guys tried that, rather then the dried ones?

I like gala apples too..

I put chunks of them in my tuna sandwiches (ever since my amazing tuna sandwich at a tea place in new york - it had miso mayonaise, some ginger, some pippin apple, mmmm.)

Going to have to try them with peanut butter..

It's better, pessy, but darn hard to get the peanut butter to stick to the apple. Sticks to just about everything else, though.
