Class act and endlessly amusing personality, Nipsy Russel died today after a battle with cancer. The Washington Post had a lovely obituary for him and I hope you all have a chance to read about the man and his art. I remember him first from Laugh In and Johnny Carson. Rest in Peace Nipsy. And thanks for all the laughs.
Oh yes, he was a class act. I listened to a great piece about him on NPR yesterday.
He made up the silliest little poems, as I recall. I mostly remember him from game shows.
