The member list has been removed to prevent automated registrations (for the backlink on the memberlist page) and to reduce memberlist spamming (joining to try to send spam to as many members as possible).
The plan is to provide a member search feature in the future. This will enable members to continue to be able to find the members they are looking for and to ease the PM restrictions as memberlist spamming subsides.

seriously though, thanks for all the hard work, craven. though i have to cringe when i say 'hard work' ever since a certain someone made a joke out of that particular pair of words.
nah, i was kidding, of course. anything that makes the site work. i can't even fathom when do you find the time for the a2k upkeep, all the kudos to you.
