Nothing Exists Anymore

The infatuation is gone
and so are these
drawn out phone calls
of nothingness
Nothing to me
Nothing to you
Anymore.

It's funny how we have the ability
to weave our own web
of unrealistic dreams
and play on them
Like they exist
Only they don't exist
Anymore.

Nothing Exists Anymore....

So pessimistic. Heartbreak is so hard to take. And yet is supposed to strengthen us. A good poem with a lot of deep feeling.

weave our own web
I enjoyed the phrase, "we weave our own web." it's very true and you have a good point. People do weave their own worlds and fantasys. Then when they don't come true they fall apart, it's happened to me many times. i hope your heart heals soon from your apparent heart-ache. on a happier note, your poetry is always interesting to read and you have a real talent. please keep posting.
