The plane was a sea plane it hit him as it landed?

Two reasons:

First, it was his time to die.
Second, he needed to give you material for a riddle so he died...you could say he died for a cause.

It was

"His wife saw him from plane swimming with some beach bitch and threw a toaster over him"

It should be

"His wife saw him from plane swimming with some beach bitch and threw a MICROWAVE over him"

I think thats more subjective and believable.

I was swimming at the beach this past weekend. I looked up and saw a plane and I am still very much alive. Maybe this doesn't happen to everyone.
