You have two coins that add up to 50 cents. One of them is not a nickel. What are the coins?

Justthefax, actually the question was supposed to be I have two coins that add up to 55 cents and one is not a nickel. But my typing skills have deteriotaed since I started on the new meds. You, of course, know the answer.
