going for a walk and other exercise,
salads,
work,
diets,
milk,
cleaning the shitter,
a loud mouth crying baby,
roaches,
mice,
the runs,
constipation,

actually - just about everything. The list would be shorter if you changed "better" to "less" -

Well, I've got this cat. She doesn't purr, doesn't sit on your lap, doesn't snuggle, bosses my husband around, and is funnier than hell. Her I like a lot better than this war.

Hot fudge. Just think what a weapon that would make - big pots of it, gooey, steaming hot, to pour on people you don't like. You'd be doing them a kindness by giving them something wonderful to lick as they were being scalded. Or maybe that's too good for them? Yeah. A pot of melted rancid butter - that's the ticket.
