Is there a way i can prevent anyone on my computer from opening a program or game i don't want them to. Such as a password-protected program to prevent access to a game.

I'll wait for an answer with you.

In the old DOS days, you had to type in the name of an executable file (ending in .exe) and press return to load a program. At that time, it was usually good enough to rename the program using the ascii blank character to precede the actual name.

If you are running Win2K, XP Pro, or XP Server 2003, you can use the Windows Encrypting File System

Otherwise, there are many file/folder encryption software solutions available, most for-fee, but some free. Have a look HERE.

Whatever method you choose, thoroughly familiarize yourself with the relevant documentation, make absolutely certain you fully understand and can accomplish what is required before doing anything, follow all directions to the letter, and do not lose your password. The machine you may screw up will be your own.
