I recently recontacted moondoggy for some boy advice and found that I was distracting him from some intense thesis writing. Bad timing on my part.

He wanted me to extend his well-wishes to the sick and injured A2Kers he knows and loves, especially Blatham and BPB. He'll check in with you all soon.

But, I think we need to help him tickle his funny bone. If you follow the link below, I think you'll find it worth a good chuckle. If you play the game you become a winner! It's so easy. <plus, if you don't pay, he won't care and neither will ebay>.

But, he'll pay a fee if you bid / BIN and don't pay, so I wouldn't suggest that.

eBay can't know if I've paid - he only accepts non-electronic funds.

A seller lists an item and pays a small fee for the listing. Moondoggies probably cost less than a couple of dollars depending on photo hosting and a couple of other things..

But, if you buy, he will also pay a percentage of the selling price as part of the Ebay billing structure. Doesn't matter if you pay or not. Ebay doesn't care if you pay or not.

What they care about is that Moondoggy pay his listing and selling fees. The $1.00 - $5.00 selling price means it wouldn't be much, but 10 - 30 cents adds up.

The only way for him not to pay the selling fees is if he reports you as a nonpaying bidder.

So, if you bid, please pay.

(At least that's the way it was when I was selling last year. If ebay has changed any of this, feel free to correct me.)
