Cumin smells incredibly yucky. It tastes good, though.

LOL. Is it that bad?

I'm surprised that so many people don't like hazelnut. Hmmm...

CI just reminded me on another thread where he mentioned mustard that I absulutely hate mustard. I use to feel the same about mayo, but I grew to like it.

I have eaten chicken feet, when I was a boy. Sort of of gristley, as I recall - not bad, but not much to them.

Last month I was watching this Chinese cooking show that I like because the guy is so funny and he makes up some really good stuff. Well, he was making chicken feet in this show and I just couldn't imagine eating those things. The chef was funny though. He picked up a few of the chickens feet and started playing with them on the counter pretending that they were walking by themselves, LOL!

My wife is a big fan of fish heads, including the eyes, but I just can't do the eyes...the cheeks are ok, however. At chefs school, learning Peking Duck, we had to sort of suspend them from their necks in the walk-in fridge to let them air dry before the final preparation....I used to charge the newbie students a quarter to see the ducks dance Smile

I can't even look at any of the so-called offal, brains, head, sweetbreads, tail, tongue, trotters, with the exception of calves' liver. I do love calves liver, though, slightly pink inside, served with fried onions. I can rarely find it.

Sushi, no way. I won't even try it. I must be missing something, though, the way the Japanese restaurants are springing up around here.

I'll cook almost anything. Mr. M's an adventurous eater. I've prepared but will not eat bison, ostrich, escargot, oysters, squid, shark steaks ...

We've seen chicken feet in Asian groceries. He would. I won't even touch them.

Another thing I can't stand, jellied food, jellied fruit, jellied meat (headcheese).
