as you know there is an info at the bottom of index page like

"Most users ever online was 891 on Sun Jun 06, 2004 11:21 pm"

But on my forum it was 15 users, some how it is now 127 users...i want to make it true.i need to edit that number but i cant find it via phpmyadmin. Do you have any advice to edit this number?

It's in the phpbb_config table under a row called record_online_users

just a quick note: the reason your number ha sjumped so much may well be down to the search engines. I was fortunate to atch the search engine in the act once.

I logged onto my relatively queit website, only to see 47 users online (normal average 5), so i logged into the admin console to see their IPs, and 45 of those were all using the same IP. A trace of that IP revealed it belonged to google search bot. When they index your page they send multiple bots all originating from the same IP each creating their own session.

My point is that while you can reset the number through the DB, next time google pays you a visit they will jump that number back up....

Well, you can always mod some of the session code to only use one session for all a search engine's bots.
