That's pretty dys. Are your walls pink or is it just the reflecting light?

This is what it looked like in our backyard over a year ago looking out from the family room deck area. I'll take a picture today and post it to show how much it has changed in one year.

It looks very nice, cicerone, especially after almost everything died when you
went on your last trips. You did a good job!!

I hope you don't rake it up, Neko - it smells so good when the leaves fall to the
ground and emit this refreshing scent of autumn.

Those beautiful golden leaves are now added to the west border
and shredded.

Earthworms will dispose of them by late spring to the extent that little trace of them
will remain.
I'm trying to encourage ferns to proliferate in this spot.

Lots of work to be done before winter is coming. Aren't you in Canada, Neko?

Our leaves are now falling, and making a huge mess of my front yard. I just "blew" it onto the street today to leave it for the city sweeper to clean up.

Here you'd have to bag those leaves -in paper bags, ofcourse- before the city crew will pick them up. As it is, I rake leaves away from the storm drain to prevent a huge pond of water from forming at the foot of our driveway and possibly freezing over.

So -- recycling the Nomad style is the easier is easier in the long run -easier on the back, that is.

Jane: Yes, I live in Canada.
