Do you have photos of your garden you would like to share? A finished paradise, or a work-in-progress, it doesn't matter. I think if we make the pictures relatively, but not too, small, then the Topic won't be slowed down by the accumulation of them. (How's that for tech talk?)

Ah, the garden. Know the flower avatars (in the gallery)? Those are all flowers I've grown, except for 2 pictures of trees with autumn leaves (those were taken at my parents', in autumn, of course).

Okay, I think it is time I invested in a digital camera - my garden right now is WIP - but I am going to post some pics soon

Clematis this year though should be fabulous...that would be nice actually, and they make a great photo.
Someone stole my doorside planter sometime here between summer and now..Im not all that happy about it but, perhaps Ill get over it and do something else.
I can try to share...but, I make no promises...usually the backyard becomes some overgrown jungle looking place and I forget I have plants around and about back there, so I just stopped doing it.
Perhaps seeing others will inspire me once again.

Hmm, I may send one of my side yard as a "before" picture. Yeah, maybe personal embarrassment will motivate me to get going...

<sniff> my bro-in-law destroyed my best patch of garden last week. I'm pretty upset. I'll try to post pix of other parts of the garden if I can.

The crocuses are a bit past their peak here, and now the early tulips are starting to open. Haven't yet figured how to adjust the f-stop to get a suitable landscape picture; should do so by the end of today.

Irises are at the top of my favorites list, msolga.

Here's a thumbnail from last spring. Happy gardening one and all.

P.S. : Through trial and error I've concluded the limitation of a hi-res (3.2 megapixel) is it's similar to that of a low ASA Kodachrome film of yesteryear. A tripod is needed for low lighting conditions for landscapes. f8 is as low as this camera (Canon Powershot S30) will go.

A good morning to gardeners everywhere. New avatar courtesy of the Warner Bros. Looney Tunes website. All the others in the L.T. lineup are available there. ciao.http://groups.msn.com/_Secure/0VADXAhwZAy40gq0S4Ys1TMj6sw2E9*8lXyJpOIOJJiKNX2YHOwo2ij4stdwl1ZoH6RCdyGWnDtQU0ezXObns0pwgzW3ajAeZhFD*nP0PSaF!by3m2KYLHEMe4MuzjRdc/neko-nomad-45.jpg?dc=4675419403685872278

Now that i'm learning to use my digital camera, I'll give this a crack. Well, maybe after I learn how to shrink the pix! My first effort at Taunton ended up with a pic of Cleo's face about 8 times life-size. Practice practice practice.
