I can imagine how you are feeling right now. My oldest is 12. And i will have to make that decision myself too.

I can feel that sick feeling in my stomach from grief.

I hope you guys feel good about making that decision. Please dont ever question your choice. You did what was best.

I'm slowly coming to terms with it, but my wife has her good and bad days, depending what memories come to the surface. We're a close knit family whose kids have left home. So, "our guys" had even more attention and interaction than usual in the past few years.
