Hey Craven due to my own stupitdity I have figured your riddle but do not know how to write it in proper mathematical terms. If 3 times 3 equals 9 then you were to take 7 minus 7 to give you 0 then take in the equation using your derived answer of 9 multiply that by 3 which equals 27 though if you take away 3 tou end up with 24, see you did not use 9 it was derived, it simply was a result of the equation

Mellow, that might get 24 but it the result would be fairly easy if the rules of the riddle could be ignored.

By this I mean that your solution would use: 3,3,7,7 AND 2 more 3s.

The extra 3s make it a heck of a lot easier to solve but are not part of the riddle. The only difficulty in the riddle is that you are forced to use only two 3s and two 7s.
