Monger! I looked at your pieces on my monitor at work, with proper colour - MUCH lovelier!

The second piece is like a heraldic thingy on acid!

To be honest, I've always wanted to draw a picture on acid ... I think it'd come out a wee bit weirder than that one though!

Thanks Debs, the impression someone gets from a piece of art is always interesting. Very Happy

heehee - I think you may find that drawing acid stuff is one of those things better done "recollected in tranquillity" - most of the drawings people do during are pathetic, in my experience, anyway.

Even spiders spin tragic webs when opening the doors of spiderly perception and meeting the piper at the gates of dawn, as it were.

monger - the first one is wonderful. It reminds me of dropping food color into water. Before it all blends in, it does that swirly dance.

I know Little k has, Vivien - and I had a look at it after she mentioned it. You think the first one looks like a squashed fairy?

re: squashed fairies!

I think it is the combination of the first and third one that made me think of Lady Cottingtons pressed fairies - the dark tights and boots she is wearing made me think of the rather naughty fairies in the book!
