ant pest

I am writing from Oman (middle east). I have an ant problem in the house. I think it is the species Pachycondyla Sennaarensis. it has a very painful stinger which gives my wife an urticarial reaction & sometimes a wheeze. I understand that the ant mainly like dead insects, ? termite larvae & probably sweets. I would like to know if there is a slow acting bait that may work well on these ants. none of the baits I have heard about seem to mention the Pachycondyla genus specifically (although I know that they are widespread in Africa, East Asia & Australia).
