Actually, not all of them, Neo: for example, Bishop Von Galen preached against the euthanasia program, and 1/2 of the Lutheran Church officially dissented, forming the Bekennende Kirche (the "Confessing Church"). As early as 1934, there were Lutheran pastors who put out a document exposing Nazism as a false religion (to this day, most Germans don't recognize it as that; bec. it wore political camouflage, they don't "see" the true nature of it).

And yes, Hitler's was one of the various millenarian/chiliastic movements in history (the difference between them and his is that they were localized, whereas his was national).
