Hello There,

I´m a 23 year old man I just quit my bank job to go independent with importing products from China.

I have a lot of experience as a seller, but I think this is going to be a little bit different, and I´m really hoping anyone with experience with import from China to Europe could help answer questions.

I´m looking to Import some small and weightless stuff, i don't really have anything specific now, well actually I have been thinking of smoking equipment such as blunt wrap papers, water pipes etc.

Do anyone know where to find the regions that specialize in manufacturing these types of products, or where to go in China to see their biggest market places?

Can any one recommend some useful web sites were i could source such products?

Additionally i would be very grateful if some people from China who read these posts would offer their sourcing help.

I´m planning a trip from Luxembourg where I live to China this summer, do you have any chinese contact persons who you have been in contact with lately concerning products to Europe?

regarding the shipping, do you have any Chinese forwarders can you recommend and how do i find them?

I know this is a lot of questions, but i really need to have them answered, could somebody please help.

Best Regards

Jan

Hi Jan
you could try Kula trading in amsterdam to source your paraphenalia items, they can provide you with a structured price list based on quantity.
Let me know how you get on, I also have and interest in importing small weight items ans similar as you describe but into the UK only.
Keep me posted
Rob

Hi Jan ,
I just read the post ,hope my suggestions are not late.as you know China is a big manufactories, there are lots and lots of factories with competitive
prices .and YIWU Zhejiang is the most famous place with small and weightless stuff in China however there are less websites for foreigner
especially who want small qauntity.and most of these websites are in chinese version.
I link some websites in English version .hope they are helpful:
http://www.chinayiwu.cn/shope/
http://www.cccmarket.com/news/htdocs/index.asp

As to the shipping,if the order is small ,forwarder is unnessary .you can ship them via UPS,FEDEX etc at beginning.

and I just start my own business also.I would like to share my experience with anyone who wants them.so Please feel free to reach me at:gggcc8@hotmail

I import and export computer parts for a living. You have to be very careful when sourcing in Asia. Both credible and fraudulent businesses ask for money up front most of the time. Alibaba and Global Sources tend to be two websites with decent information, however, it is truly a buyer beware situation when sourcing prodcuts in Asia.
